The Vineyard
In between the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenees, in the heart of Les Aspres, is located Château Lauriga. The Estate is built with beautiful rolled stones, a characteristic of Catalan architecture. It is surrounded by vineyards and close to the dynamic village of Thuir. Lauriga produces Côtes du Roussillon AOP wines (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) in reds and rosés as well as Côtes Catalanes IGP and Pays d’OC IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée), available in our wine shop.
The Wines
The magic combination of the Tramontaine terroir, grape varieties and winemaking expertise has produced a range of wines with complex, subtle aromas and flavours. The range comprises white wines made from dry Muscat, Grenache, Macabeu.

Vincent HEYRAUD16 Avril 2024Un lieu superbe, des appartements de haut standing, un accueil chaleureux par Lucas qui nous a organisé une visite et dégustation des vins du domaine qui sont par ailleurs excellents... Que demander de plus ! Je recommande pour tout événement, weekend oenologie, EVG, mariage... La rénovation a été faite avec goût, on se sent porté.

daniel Martinez Mora6 Septembre 2022Hola ! soy español , de Favara ( Valencia). Cuando era estudiante de Ciencias Químicas estuve cuatro temporadas vendimiando en ese mas. Entonces , 1983-1987, Mas del Rieux. El dueño se llamaba François Costa , vivia en la casa principal con su mujer la madre de ella , un hijo y una hija.Los vendimiadores españoles ocupabamos la casa que hay al entrar a mano derecha. Cada temporada la limpiábamos entre todos. Tengo muchos recuerdos de aquella época : Me acuerdo del buen trato y la buena comunicación con los dueños pues ellos hablaban catalán y nosotros también. Me alegro de ver por Google que ha sido reconvertido en una bodega. Les deseo gran éxito y si alguna vez viajo cerca de thuir , seguro que me acerco a haceles una visita.
