Swept by the tramontane wind, the vineyards are located on pliocene hills, typical of the ASPRES terroir, whose fi ltering soils are quickly drained, thanks to their high content in sand. Interestingly, parts of Lauriga vineyards are situated on ancient terraces with very stony soils, containing shingles, which can quickly store up heat, an asset long appreciated by past generations of winegrowers. the diversity of terroirs allows the elaboration of a subtle range of wines.
